The Nest at Mountainview began as a simple conviction: that a place to stay should feel like a revelation. Perched on Mountain View Road in Wilmington, our home offers something rare — rooms that breathe with the rhythm of the seasons, interiors crafted from warmth and restraint, and views that shift with the light.
We are not a resort. We are not a chain. We are a carefully considered retreat, tended by the Anes family, built for travelers who value stillness as much as comfort.
Each room is individually appointed with heirloom furnishings, linens from Vermont mills, and a window that frames the mountains as though they were a painting.
Our largest room, with a king bed, private sitting area, and a stone fireplace. The west-facing windows catch every sunset.
Warm Vermont maple throughout — floors, beams, furniture. A queen bed, a reading nook, and quiet above the valley.
Light, airy, and softly furnished — a retreat for one or two. Morning coffee is best enjoyed on the shared porch.
Our newest addition, featuring a local granite accent wall, heated floors, and an en-suite bath carved from river stone.
